1. Who We Are

Daily Dose is operated by Shalls Digital LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide a personalized AI-generated morning briefing service delivered to your email inbox every day at 7:30 AM ET. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at shallsdigital@gmail.com.

2. What We Collect

When you sign up for Daily Dose, we collect:

• Name — to personalize your brief
• Email address — to deliver your daily brief and account communications
• Phone number — for account verification via SMS
• Timezone — to schedule delivery at the right time for you
• Section preferences — the topics and settings you choose (weather city, market tickers, sports teams, etc.) to personalize your brief content
• Payment information — processed directly by Stripe; we do not store your card details

We also automatically collect basic usage data such as the date your brief was last sent. We do not use tracking pixels, behavioral analytics, or third-party advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information solely to:

• Generate and deliver your personalized morning brief
• Verify your identity during account creation
• Process your subscription payment
• Send transactional emails (subscription confirmations, billing receipts)
• Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than providing the Daily Dose service.

4. Third-Party Services

To operate Daily Dose, we share limited data with the following trusted services:

• Supabase — secure database storage for your account and preferences
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe stores your payment method and billing details under their own Privacy Policy
• Resend — email delivery of your daily brief
• Twilio — SMS verification codes during account signup
• Anthropic — AI model used to write your brief. Your name and preferences are passed to generate your brief; no identifying data is retained by Anthropic beyond the API request

5. Cookies

Daily Dose itself does not set tracking cookies. However, Stripe — our payment processor — may set cookies during the checkout process to prevent fraud and ensure secure transactions. These are essential cookies and cannot be disabled during payment. By using our checkout, you consent to Stripe's use of cookies in accordance with their policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion, we will permanently delete your account data within 30 days. Stripe may retain billing records independently per their own retention policies and legal obligations.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of any marketing communications (we send very few)

8. Children's Privacy

Daily Dose is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Daily Dose after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
